Need a Place To Put Your Stuff? Look No Further Than a Pod

Portable storage bins

We have all driven by those self storage facilities. The kinds that are all set up, side by side, like tiny little garages, with their roll up doors. The least convenient part about that situation is that you need to bring your stuff to the facilities in order to store your it there. What if I told you that there is a better way? Let me introduce you to portable storage units.

With portable storage rentals, you can get the storage unit delivered right to where you need it placed, and you can fill it up at your own pace. It will stay there indefinitely, until you empty it and call the company to come and pick it back up. Or you can pack it up and then have them deliver the filled unit to a new location as well.

Most portable storage rentals look just like the units that you see sitting stationary at the facilities. They are individual boxes that are able to be moved to different locations. Some can be the long, horizontally laying rectangles that are most commonly seen, but there are other units that actually sit taller, more vertically. This saves ground space, requiring you to stack and bury more in a smaller square, versus spreading more out over the rectangle.

As mentioned earlier, portable storage rentals do not have to be just for setting up your goods to be stored. They can also be a much more inexpensive, and much less stressful, alternative to renting a moving truck. You can call the company, that will come in and drop off the storage unit. You pack it at your own pace, taking as many days as you want or need, until you are satisfied and ready for the move.

Then the company comes back, picks up the unit, and drives it to wherever you want it dropped off. No worrying about driving a big moving truck yourself, the transport is taken care of. They drop the unit at the new location, and once again you take your time to unload the container. And when it is completely empty, they come pick it back up one last time.

These storage units just make life easier. They reduce the stress of a move and increase the convenience of having to store some of your belongings by giving you the option of where you want to store them. The next time you have a move coming up, or need that extra bit of space, make portable storage your first choice.

  1. i see these things all the time now. i saw a kid using one for packing his stuff at college. i am assuming that they just hauled it all back in the container when he was done.
