Garden centers say that the average food garden design size in the U.S. is 600 square feet, and although this may not seem extremely over sized, still not many people have the room for it in their yards. This is why more people have looked to alternate options for gardening. Approximately 11 percent of Americans participate in container gardening. This is known to be less work and to take up far less amounts of room
Landscaping is also popular in the United states, especially in areas with decent weather. Going to a plant nursery at a garden centers or home store you can find plants and shrubs that will truly make your house look beautiful. The landscaping aspects of a home will give it character, and offset certain parts of the house itself.
Although landscaping is not as tedious as gardening, it still requires much consideration and work. The primary difference between the two is the fact that gardening is a more frequent task, and landscaping usually only requires work a couple times of year. But both will make a house look much better.
